Former Coronation Street star Annie Hulley has amassed a staggering multi-million pound property portfolio in just 3 years. In her first book, How to be a Property Millionaire, Annie reveals how she accomplished this remarkable achievement. The book which officially publishes 7 October 2004 is a practical and yet entertaining guide for anyone who has in interest in investing in bricks and mortar! Annie explains how she came to accumulate her fortune, the mistakes she encountered and shares the lessons she learned along the way.
Annie Hulley was brought up in the North of England. When she moved to London in her early twenties she had no choice but to rent for several years until she could save enough to buy her first flat at the age of 27. That first purchase gave her the basis on which she started to build her property portfolio.
How to be a Property Millionaire is not simply another TV tie-in publication; Annie's experiences are real and the book systematically goes through the process of buying, selling, letting and investing in property in the UK and abroad. There are also chapters on buying at auction, financial and mortgage advice, refurbishing your home, investing in the North, buying off plan, holiday lets as well as shared ownership schemes to investing in Dubai and Spain. The book offers a practical and intuitive approach to property ownership and investment and aims to help 'would be investors' to make informed choices rather than spur of the moment decisions.
According to Annie, 'My interest in bricks and mortar is not only a financial one, although as a property investor, this is and has to be the main consideration, but it is also of interest because of the challenge it offers in finding the right property in the right place of the right time.'
