Description of Doing Business with Ukraine
Ukraine now offers great potential for international investment, and has become an exciting business opportunity for companies wishing to take advantage of the country’s wealth of natural resources and prospering technology industries, in addition to its highly qualified human resources.

Over the last few years, Ukraine has made firm progress towards creating the political and economic institutions of a liberal market economy. In 2000, the country began to exhibit semblances of its long-awaited potential, recording impressive economic growth, as well as further reducing inflation to virtually normal levels and likewise creating numerous employment positions for its citizens. The formation of a new government in spring 2001 has further consolidated Ukraine's inexorable drive towards regional economic integration, reinforcing investor confidence in the country. The current government continues to pursue liberal economic policies and remains reform-oriented.

Ukraine now offers great potential for international investment, and has become an exciting business opportunity for companies wishing to take advantage of the country’s wealth of natural resources and prospering technology industries, in addition to its highly qualified human resources.

Topics covered include:

- background to the market;
- the foreign investment climate;
- the financial sector;
- market potential;
