The Morgan Stanley FTSE Income Plan 6 is a five year Structured Investment Plan which provides an annual income of 7.7%. The income is paid in fixed quarterly payments of 1.925%, with the return of capital dependent on the performance of the FTSE 100 Index (‘the Index’).
The plan provides a fixed annual income of 7.7% throughout the investment term, regardless of the performance of the Index. The income is paid to you in fixed quarterly payments of 1.925% for every quarter during the term of the plan.
Repayment of your original capital at the end of the five year term is dependent on the performance of the Index. The Plan benefits from a safety net feature which means as long as the Index has not fallen by more than 50% from its Initial Index Level during the term of the plan, you will receive the full return of your capital.
Capital will be lost if the Index has fallen by more than 50% during the term and the Final Index Level is lower than the Initial Index Level, in which case you would lose 1% of capital for every 1% the Final Index Level has fallen below the Initial Index Level.
The Plan is available for direct investment, stocks & shares ISA and ISA transfer, as well as SIPP and SSAS pension investments. It is also available to businesses, charities and trusts.
