Bristol based Fair Investment Company is hosting a Grand Auction to support Bulgarian Partners Trust, to be held at the prestigious Clifton Club at 7pm on October 1.
Bulgarian Partners Trust is a UK charity that is helping to fund the building of a much-needed social, educational and medical centre in Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria, which will offer support to thousands of Bulgarians living in poverty on the fringes of society.
Bulgaria is one of the poorest members of the EU, with many children living below the poverty line. The new Centre is being built to provide support to the needy, including orphans, the elderly, and Sofia's largely displaced Roma community, which suffers from a lack of employment, education and healthcare.
Tickets for the Grand Auction cost £10 each or £15 for two, with all proceeds going to the Bulgarian Partners Trust. Included in the price of a ticket is a glass of Bulgarian wine, canapés, a live Bulgarian musical performance, and the chance to bid for some once in a life time experiences.
Guests have the chance to come along for a special evening where they can support a worthwhile cause and dig deep to bag some totally unique lots – from hot air balloon rides and gourmet meals, to private conducted tours of some of Bristol's hidden gems or the chance to drive a steam engine.
Commenting on the upcoming auction, director at Fair Investment Company James Caldwell said: "We are delighted to be supporting Bulgarian Partners Trust with the Grand Auction.
"The work done by Bulgarian Partners Trust is invaluable to those who need it, and we hope to raise as much as we can to help, while also giving people in the UK a taste of what Bulgaria has to offer."
