Halifax has won two awards recognising its commitment to making banking easier and less stressful for parents and children.
The bank was named Most Parent Friendly Bank for the second year running at the 2005 Tommy's Parent Friendly Awards last week at a London hotel.
The ceremony also saw Halifax awarded the Best Children's Account Provider accolade.
"It is a great honour to receive these awards, which recognise the efforts by our colleagues to make Halifax branches as welcoming as possible for parents and their children," said Peter Jackson, head of banking at Halifax.
"We believe it is important to offer great products and services to parents and children so that future generations are financially aware."
The Tommy's awards recognise banks and credit companies that take parents' and children's needs into consideration.
Awards are based on votes cast by parents across the UK. Click here to find out more about banking.
