25% off motorbike insurance for cash-strapped bikers

Motorbike owners who are feeling the pinch of the recession can save 25 per cent at the moment with Bennett's motorbike insurance.

For a six week period only - until February 28th - bikers can get a 25 per cent discount on Bennett's motorbike insurance, which amounts to 12 months of cover for the price of nine.

After a year of rising costs for motorists and bikers alike, as insurance premiums and the price of fuel have shot up, bikers might appreciate having three months' free motorbike insurance cover to help them cut their living costs and pay other bills.

"We want to give bikers a reason to get excited about getting on their bikes in the New Year." said Paul Galligan, director of Bennett's motorbike insurance.

He also predicts that the cost of owning a car compared to the running cost of a motorbike, which offers less fuel consumption, considerably lower road tax and, now the chance to save 25 per cent off the insurance, might appeal to consumers, struggling to make ends meet as the credit crunch eats into their budgets, and encourage more people to trade in their car for a motorbike.

"The twelve months for the price of nine offer will hopefully help relieve some of the financial strain for UK bikers", Mr Galligan continued, "and who knows, it may even tempt others to think about switching from four wheels to two in a bid to save money."
