Churchill Insurance finds that women spend £96,720 on their wardrobe
Churchill Home Insurance has found British women spend an average of £96,720 on clothes over their lifetime.
But this huge outlay is often not acknowledged on home insurance policies, leaving the nation's females at risk of fire and theft.
"Clothes are a good example of where we accumulate a considerable amount of monetary value in home contents over the years. Homeowners should always try and keep tabs on how much their belongings are worth in order to get the right level of insurance cover," said Churchill's head of home insurance, Martin Scott. To find out more about home insurance, click here.
