The Green Insurance Company is offering new customers a 10 per cent discount on their car insurance for one day only, helping them to save money as well as trees.
Today, 31 March 2010, new customers of The Green Car Insurance Company car insurance will get up to 10 per cent off their quote, and the company urges consumers not to be April fooled by more expensive premiums.
The green car insurance provider, which offers a range of environmentally-friendly insurance products, has planted more than 300,000 trees in the UK since it started in 2007, offsetting in excess of 120,000 tonnes of CO2 for their customers.
A further 370,500 trees are planned to be planted this year, helping consumers to reduce their carbon footprint by offsetting 100 per cent of their emissions.
Commenting on the sale day, Gaynor Wood, head of The Green Insurance Company, said: "We’re offering motorists a great one day discount on our car insurance policies."
She added, "With April Fool’s Day just around the corner, it's an ideal opportunity to make sure that, with your insurance premium at least, you won't look foolish."
