Legal & General has picked up the Life Insurer of the Year Award for the sixth year running.
Legal & General also scooped the Technology Award for providing stakeholder pensions via its electronic pensions administration centre.
The British Insurance Awards were held at the Royal Albert Hall and presented by Jeremy Paxman.
Collecting the awards the managing director of intermediary solutions, Graham Newitt, said: "We are delighted to win both awards and to be recognised by the industry as the most successful Life Insurer of the Year."
He added: "Our success has come from our ability to continue to innovate in this market, creating new partnerships, products and services that provide easy access and value for money to our customers."
Mr Newitt believes the UK financial services industry is set for "further change" but he feels Legal & General's commitment to the UK and its clients places the company in "a strong position".
He continued by saying, as things moved forward, the firm's customers would benefit from its growth and continued delivery of value for money.
The head of the corporate business division at Legal & General, Diane Buckley added: "Our technology has been developed and evolved to meet the changing needs of our Corporate Pensions customers and we are delighted to receive this prestigious award recognising our success."
