Nothing says I love you like insuring your partner on your car insurance
policy, according to Privilege.
The insurance company says that by putting your partner on your policy, you could save enough money on your quote to buy them a special treat on Valentine's Day.
Privilege is offering an 'Insured and Partner' option which allows them to put their other half on their policy.
The policy is not just for heterosexual married couples, but any partners as long as both are over 25 and living at the same address.
"In our experience, drivers taking the 'Insured and Partner' option represent a lower risk – perhaps because the responsibility of being in a long-term relationship translates into safer driving when behind the wheel," said Ian Parker, managing director of Privilege Insurance.
"Whatever the reason, we are often able to offer a discount compared to 'Insured Only Driving' policies." To read more about Car Insurance, click here.
