Cofunds held its position as the highest selling platform for the third consecutive quarter in quarter four 2009, a UK fund sales report by Lipper FMI has revealed.
The figures show that Cofunds – a leading independent investment platform – accounted for 48 per cent of total unwrapped sales, and 32 per cent of ISA sales.
Overall, 2009 was a good year for Cofunds, as it saw sales rise by 52 per cent from quarter two to quarter three. Meanwhile, sales on Cofunds for the whole of 2009 were 25 per cent higher than any other platform.
Commenting, Alistair Conway, sales and marketing director at Cofunds said: "We'd like to thank our supporters for enabling Cofunds to increase our market share and lead the way with these sales figures, especially with a considerable proportion coming from new platform flows."
