The first Child Trust Fund vouchers are being sent out today, and the Post Office is urging parents to make use of the investment plan.
Claire Oldstein, head of product development at the Post Office's financial services arm, said: "It is vital that parents grab the opportunity to start saving for their children's future."

Only 4 per cent believed they were fully informed and less than a quarter felt they knew enough about Child Trust Funds to make decisions about them. To read more about investing for children, click here.
