Friends Provident has announced details of its new "Mortgage Club" - designed to help industry players provide its protection products.
The club is aimed at Directly Authorised Single Providers (DASPs) and will seek to provide these mortgage-based companies with implicit authorisation to roll out their offerings.
The lender says that the Mortgage Club will help improve products for both lenders and their consumers.
Friends Provident mortgage proposition manager Trevor Galvin welcomed the move, and said it would deliver visible improvements.
"This latest initiative is an indication of Friends Provident's commitment to provide DASPs access to the best quality products backed by market leading technology support and our 5 star award-winning service," he said.
Some of the key benefits of the club include access to mortgage and general insurance panels, and also exclusive mortgage offers.
