Mortgage Code Compliance Board 'delighted' with levels of qualification activity

The Mortgage Code Compliance Board (MCCB) has announced it is 'delighted' that a further 14,000 individuals have gained one of the required qualifications in offering home loan advice, bringing the total to 64,418.

Its Chief Executive, Luke March said: 'The successful introduction of Fitness and Competence requirements and, in particular, of compulsory professional qualifications for mortgage advisers will be one of our many lasting legacies after 'Mortgage Day'.'
