Wales' largest building society, Principality, is to launch a new mortgage and financial advice service over the internet.
The new facility, christened Moneypilot.co.uk, is aimed at the growing market of mortgage customers in need of mortgage advice but without the time to seek extensive face-to-face help.
"Our web-based mortgage service makes it easier by providing a convenient way of getting good advice without the unnecessary burden of having to physically go and see an adviser or invite them into your home," said managing director Neal Pritchard.
The new technology being pioneered by Moneypilot.co.uk allows customers to be walked through the process of a mortgage application or gain direct advice from professionals through an internet portal.
"We believe customers will value the transparency this free service offers and it has the added benefit of being delivered at a time and place to suit the customer – whether at home or during their lunch hour in the office," Mr Pritchard added. To read more about mortgages, click here.
