Those planning for their retirement will be able to take advantage of a brand-new website dedicated to the national pensions debate.
Launched yesterday by the minister for pensions reform, Stephen Timms, the new government site aims to inform people about the issues surrounding retirement planning.
Located at www.dwp.gov.uk/debate as part of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) site, the new pages also offer web surfers the chance to get interactively involved in the pensions debate.
Stephen Timms commented: "The future of pensions will affect us all in some way and the new website will allow everyone to make their voice heard in the national debate.
"Ministers have already started taking the debate out to the country and more events are planned throughout the course of the year but the website will help us reach those people who may not be able to attend those specific events."
Users can register on the site for further access to the extensive pensions-related information available from the DWP.To read more about retirement planning, click here.
