Estate agents report lull in housing market prior to Christmas

The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) has reported that October's housing market survey shows that the number of monthly transactions has dropped, as demand in the housing market generally fell in the run up to Christmas.

However it also reported a fall in supply, with he average number of properties currently available for sale with estate agents falling to 49, down from 61 in September.
