AA Car Breakdown Service can be tailored to fit your individual needs. There are four different packages to chose from, each offering slightly more cover for extra cost. The standard Roadside cover offers assistance if you break down more than ¼ of a mile away from your home. The AA will come to your aid, and if they cannot fix your car on the roadside, will take your car to the nearest garage, or to another local destination.

If this cover is not adequate, and you need the peace of mind that you will be able to get a service wherever you, including at home, you can add one or more of the other options within the AA car breakdown service to your cover:

Relay - You and up to seven passengers will be transported home or to any UK mainland destination.
Home Start - Help when you have broken down at home or within ¼ mile of it. You and your car will be taken to the nearest garage or another local destination, provided this is no further.
Relay Plus - If repair is not possible, the AA will give you a replacement hire car for up to 48 hours, or pay for overnight accommodation or travel expenses.
