Previously, Blueyonder broadband was offered by Telewest in a range of packages, with Telewest as a whole serving over 1.8 million customers in 2006. Since the merger of Telewest, ntl, and Virgin Mobile to form Virgin Media, all Blueyonder broadband packages are now provided through Virgin Media.
Blueyonder (now Virgin Media) offers speeds of up to 10Mb/s and no bandwidth restrictions on any of its broadband packages (as of February 2007). Blueyonder can also be combined with a range of other Virgin Media services, such as digital TV and phone packages.
Telewest always aimed to support its Blueyonder broadband service with a high standard of customer service, and won the Call Centre of the Year 2005 awarded by the Call Centre Association.
