One year after the devastating floods of last summer, home owners in flood risk areas are still left with several surprisingly good options to choose from when it comes to taking out home insurance, research from moneysupermarket.com found.
In a case study for Tewkesbury, one of the areas worst affected by last year's flooding, the comparison website found that despite the increased and known flooding risk in the area homeowners with no previous claim for flooding are still offered competitive home insurance quotes from a wide range of insurers. more
