The BlackBerry 9000, dubbed BlackBerry Bold, is the latest smartphone messenger with a powerful 624 MHz processor and the new BlackBerry OS 4.6. It has a large widescreen aspect display with a high resolution of 480x320 pixels. As with all modern BlackBerry devices, the BlackBerry 9000 Bold has a QWERTY keyboard and a miniature trackball for on screen navigation.

All of the usual BlackBerry features are present too - a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, web browser, media player with DivX support and a 3.5mm stereo audio socket. Theres 1GB of internal memory for storing video, music and other media. This can be upgraded to 8GB using a memory card. In terms of connectivity features, the BlackBerry 9000 Bold has GPS with BlackBerry maps pre-installed, it has Wi-fi, 3G, tri-band HSDPA and quad-band GSM.

Review: I have had the 8900 curve the 8110 pearl but they dont compare to the blackberry bold... the bold is much faster due to it being able to use 3g so if you love to surf the net then get the bold speakers on blackberry are very good quality clarity is brilliant compared to other leading brand phones over all a brilliant phone large clear screen, easy to use keypad (may be dificult if you hav smaller hands) battery life gets you through the day no problem
