The HTC Wildfire S is lighter and fractionally smaller than the standard Wildfire. It has a high resolution screen, Android v2.3, a faster processor and connectivity has been upgraded to 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1. The optical trackpad and HTC Sense UI offer a great user experience and the 3.2 inch touchscreen quickly switched between landscape or portrait mode.

With the Wildfire S you can make the most of the mobile web with multi-window browsing and as you zoom in or out text resizes automatically. The highlight tool allows you to select text and quickly look it up on Google or Wikipedia whilst all your email accounts are merged into one place so that you can keep track of everything.

3G, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS are all present, as youd expect from any Android phone. FriendStream handles your social network updates and organises them into one handy feed.

The 5 megapixel camera includes autofocus, video record and geo-tagging and you can simply select a photo to share, tag your friends and upload it to your preferred social networking site. Entertainment tops the bill with a multimedia player, FM Radio and an expandable memory up to 32GB whilst a visit to the Android Market provides a world of new apps to download straight to the phone and share with your friends.

Review: An excellent smartphone: only criticism is the light weight and smooth case means you have to keep a firm hold on it. If you live in an area with lots of free WiFi hotspots, opt for the cheapest voice and text tarif you can, load it up with VOIP apps and off you go. A brilliant ManToy with fantastic features and excellent voice quality. Buy it !
