Launched in the UK as the the Genio Slide and previously known as the Samsung Genio Pro, the B5310 is for people who love to customise their gadgets and ensure they never miss out on the latest gossip. The distinctly shaped Genio Pro comes with two brightly-coloured, interchangeable rear covers, or ‘Fashion Jackets’. The phone has a slide out QWERTY keyboard for super quick tweets, emails or texts. The Genio Pro has been designed for mobile social networking. With built in applications for Facebook and MySpace, updating your status or profile is easy.
The 2.8 inch touchscreen features Samsung’s TouchWiz interface with its customisable homescreen. The Genio Pro has the full suite of connectivity options, 3G, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and stereo Bluetooth. There’s an impressive media player with DivX support plus an FM radio, a 3 megapixel camera and expandable memory up to 16GB. Photos and videos taken on the phone can be uploaded directly to Flickr, YouTube, Picasa and Facebook. Overall this is a very capable device.
