The Sony Ericsson W302 is a budget Walkman phone with a standard design and some great things to offer. Being a Walkman phone the W302 is not simply a phone but also a portable music device. It has a fun range of music technologies including music recognition. Just record a few seconds of any music and its intelligent TrackID provides information on the song name, the artist and the album. Very impressive!

The music-centered phone also comes equipped with a 2 megapixel camera which takes respectable images, it has a digital zoom and in-phone imaging and messaging features, useful for capturing the moment and sending by MMS or email. The phone comes with the useful PictBridge feature which allows you to skip the computer stage and interface directly with compatible printers.

The W302 is simple, compact and minimalist. Aside from its music please, other features worthy of note include an FM radio with RDS, stereo Bluetooth, a basic web browser, email and USB PC connectivity. With a depth of only 10.5mm its also very streamline. A 512MB memory card is included in the box. While the W302 is a basic model that is not as feature-packed as some of the more expensive Walkman phones, it is a cheerful phone with all the essentials and a great look.
