The Sony Ericsson W995 is the most advanced mobile in the popular Walkman range. In terms of features it is much in the same vein as all of its predecessors but with enhancements in all areas. Externally the phone is instantly recognisable as a Walkman series. It has a slider to cover the keypad, dedicated music keys and an added innovation is its integrated kick stand which is a quirky little quality to add to its collection.

The overall capabilities of the phone are impressive. The main feature is its music playing resources but with the addition of a decent 8 megapixel camera, there is an added dimension to the W995. The Camera comes with autofocus, a flash and face detection, which all help with capturing the perfect image. Along with that the phone supports geotagging and allows for picture editing and blogging. The Sony Ericsson W995 has Wi-Fi along with HSDPA/HSUPA and 3G. It also comes with GPS and has Google Maps and the popular Wayfinder navigation application pre-installed.

Finally, being a high powered Walkman phone the W995 comes with all of the music technology that you would expect to come from the audio masters. It comes equipped with Walkman 4.0 music player for all your music tracks, Shake control, the intelligent TrackID which allows you to identify music from just a few seconds of recording, FM radio and a practical 3.5mm jack so you can use your favourite headphones.

Review: i think that it is a good idea but i dont like the idea of paying £7.50 a month just for the internet but that is just my view but apart from that i like the style the way its presented and the keypad and all the features!
