As base rate hits historic low of 1%, it’s time to take advantage...

The Bank of England cut the base rate again this month by 0.5% to 1% - the lowest rate in more than 300 years, and this means there are some brilliant mortgage deals around at the moment including Woolwich Mortgages market leading rate of 2.29%, fixed until 2010– call 0845 070 1720 to find out more.

When the base rate falls, experts say 'its good for borrowers and bad for savers' and although this is generally true, it doesn't mean there are no good savings rates to be had. In fact, now is the time to shop around and secure a great deal.
