Debt Management Office
The Debt Management Office or DMO is an Executive Agency of Her Majesty's Treasury.
Amongst other things, the Debt Management Office also deals with the following:
- Investment and management of government funds
- The Debt Management Office helps to reduce the national debt through the Commissioners for the Reduction of the National Debt (CRND)
- Lending money to local authorities and other prescribed bodies, as well as for collecting the repayments – this is carried out by The Public Works Loan Board (PWLB)
