The cover comes in the form of 5 policies:
1 Rescue:
- Roadside assistance, once you’re ¼ mile from home
- If your car cannot be fixed at the roadside, they’ll take you and your vehicle to a suitable garage
- Message service to let friends and family know what has happened
2 Rescue Plus:
- All of the above, plus cover for your car at your home address.
3 Recovery:
- All the benefits of Rescue, but including:
- Taking you, your vehicle and any passengers to your original destination, your home address or a suitable garage if your car cannot be repaired by the end of the working day
4 Recovery Plus:
- Extends all the benefits of Recovery to your home address, plus a choice of either:
- A hire car for up to 24 hours, or
- The cost of alternative travel to return home or
- Costs to continue your journey or
- Overnight accommodation (including breakfast) in a local hotel while your vehicle is repaired (providing you are more than 25 miles from home)
- They will also pay for a single standard class rail ticket for you or another driver to collect the vehicle
5 EuroPlus:
- For protection when driving on the continent
- Includes all the benefits of Recovery Plus as well as European roadside help
- Provides the cost of travel home if necessary, for you and your car
- Includes free legal cover
6 Personal Cover
- Covers you whatever car you are travelling in
- Can also be extended to include your partner
- Available for incidents occurring in the UK
