Dunfermline Building Society Savings Accounts

There are a range of Dunfermline Building Society savings accounts to choose from. Whether you are saving for your children or are a football fanatic there will be a savings account for you. The range includes:

Youth accounts

Children’s bond (Issue 2) – Variable interest, available for children under 15, opens with £50 up to £5,000.
S Account – For ages up to 11, variable interest, open with just £1 up to £25,000, instant access.
M Account – Ages 11-15, variable interest rates, instant access, invest £1 to £25,000.
L Account – Ages 15-23, variable rate, and instant access, open with £1 up to £50,000.

Fixed rate and notice accounts

Base Rate Trackers (Issue 11) - Variable interest in line with base rate, invest between £100 and £1,000,000.
Fixed Rate Bond - Rates fixed until March 2009, invest between £100 an £1,000,000. At least £100 must be kept in account at all times.
Premium Share Account – Variable interest, invest from £500, LINK card available, free withdrawals if account balance remains above £10,000.

Instant access accounts

Fairway Saver Account – Variable interest, help support the Scottish Golf Union’s junior development programme; invest between £1 and £1,000,000, instant access.
Gold Account – Variable interest, invest from just £1, LINK card allowing cash machine, instant access.
Monthly Saver (Issue 2) – Variable interest, invest from £100 and from there on between £20 and £200 each month. No notice for withdrawals but account will be closed if more than two are made in a year.
