Exchange Traded Commodity Funds

Exchange Traded Commodity funds, or ETC funds, are a type of Exchange Traded Product, which invest in commodities, such as precious metals or natural resources.

Exchange Traded Commodity funds can directly hold an asset, such as gold, or may track an index following the equity value of commodity companies or the price of an asset. Exchange Traded Products are classed as specialist, higher risk investments, and are therefore not suitable for all investors.
