Funding for Internatinoal Students
Funding for Internatinoal Students
International students – those from outside the EU – wishing to study in the UK (England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland) are not eligible for the same amount of funding as those from the EU or home students. The amount of fees you have to pay will be determined by the institution that you wish to apply to, and international students will have other things to consider. The government website can provide information for international students, as can UKCOSA – the Council for International Education which is a not-for-profit organisation and provides guidance on such things as:
- Living costs
- Visas and immigration
- Working while you study in the UK
- If your qualifications are adequate for study in the UK
- Health care and finance
- Finding accommodation
- Registered UK institutions of higher education
They aim to promote educational mobility and give support to international students and the professionals that work with them.
