Grants for Tuition Fees
Grants for Tuition Fees are available for students who come from a low-income family or are dependent and earn under the threshold. For entrance in 2007/2008, the levels of household income for receiving a Grant for Tuition Fees in England and Wales are:
- Below £23,100 - Full grant (no fees to pay)
- Between £23,100 and £34,310 – Some grant (you will have to pay some of your fees)
- Above £34,310 – No grant (you will have to pay all of your fees)
If you are a single, independent student (have lived independently of your parents for 3 years), then you will receive a full grant for tuition fees, providing your income is less than £10,755.
