Legal & General Cash ISA: A Cash ISA is a tax free interest savings account. You may save up to £3,600 per tax year into a cash ISA.
Legal & General Stocks and Shares ISAs: You may invest up to £7,200 per year into a Stocks and Shares ISA.
You are permitted to affect a Stocks and Shares ISA and a Cash ISA in any one tax year, as long as you do not put more than £3,600 into the Cash ISA, and your combined deposits do not exceed the limit of £7,200.
The range of Legal & General Investment ISAs include:
- Index –tracking: Aims to replicate the performance of an index, for example the FTSE 100, All Share or 250 indices.
- Income: Invest in fixed interest securities e.g. Corporate Bonds (loans to companies) and government securities, or gilts (loans to government) or shares that pay high levels of dividends to provide a regular income.
- Actively Managed: The Fund Manager adjusts the asset allocation of the Fund to take account of the prevailing market conditions.
- Ethical: Invests only in companies that do business in a socially responsible way.
