Off Plan Properties
Off Plan Properties
An off plan property investment allows an investor to purchase building rights to land, avoiding any laws which may otherwise prevent investors or foreigners owning land. The investment is made to fund a building development on the land itself, with further payments made as the building work progresses. Typically, off plan property developments include large blocks of flats, holiday resorts and other apartment complexes that offer extensive facilities such as pools, tennis courts and other perks.
When the final instalment is paid by the buyer and the building work is complete, the deed for one apartment is handed to the investor. Even should anything happen to the building itself, the right to build on the land remains with the investor.
Taking external advice and doing personal research an off plan property investment schemes is essential to root out both unrealistic developments and also to make sure you are able to identify the deal which will offer the best return for you.
