The over 50s ISA allowance is now the same as it is for all UK adults - £20,000 for the 2017/18 tax year.


Some of this can go into a Cash ISA and the rest in a Stocks and Shares ISA, or it can all go into stocks and shares or cash if you wish. From 2011, the over 50s ISA allowance has risen with inflation in line with all ISA limits, each tax year.
