The Societe Generale UK Range 7 Deposit Plan 3 is a six year Structured Deposit Plan linked to the performance of the FTSE 100 Index (‘the Index’).

The Plan aims to repay your initial deposit after six years and also provide fixed income returns of 7% gross annually. The FTSE 100 Index is measured on the Start Date and then again every year on the Annual Coupon Determination Date. In order to pay the 7% income the Index must have closed between a specified upper and lower range on each trading day over the previous year. The range for year one is +/- 12% of the Initial Level, and then the range increases by +/- 2.6% each year thereafter, resulting in a range of +/- 25% for the final year.

For example, if the Starting Level of the Index was 6000 points, for year one the closing levels would have to remain between 5280 and 6720 points in order to receive the 7% income payment. By the end of year three the range would be 4968 to 7032 points, and by at the end of the term it would be between 4500 to 7500 points.

If the closing level of the Index doesn’t fall between the specific range during any particular year, no income payment will be made for that period.

This plan is available as a Cash ISA, Cash ISA Transfer, Direct Investment, as well as SIPP, and SSAS pension investments. It is also available to businesses, charities and trusts.
