Tesco car breakdown protection can come in different levels of cover and price to suit your requirements. The different policies can provide cover ranging from basic roadside assistance to protection while you are travelling in Europe. Tesco car breakdown cover comes in the following forms:

Standard Care (Level 1):

Roadside assistance and up to one hour’s labour (parts not included)
Cover is valid once you are ¼ of a mile from your home
If your vehicle is not repairable, they will take it a garage within a 10 mile radius of where you broke down
No mileage or call-out charges
500 Clubard points

Extra Care (Level 2):

As Standard Care but with the additional cover of an ‘at home’ service – the address of the policyholder or the place where the vehicle is usually kept
650 Clubcard points

Total Care (Level 3):

All the benefits of Level 1&2 but with the added cover of:
After-accident care – giving your car a thorough check-over once it has been repaired
Message service to alert friends’ or family to your delay
Free transport for you, your car and up to 7 passengers either to your destination, your home, or
A hire car to continue your journey or return home or
Free accommodation while you wait for your car to be repaired
A free standard single train ticket to go and pick up your car once it has been repaired
