Income Paid Quarterly.The fund’s investment objective is to provide investors with long-term appreciation through investing in stocks primarily listed on the UK stock exchanges. Up to 20% may be invested in international companies. The income objective is 10% higher than the FTSE All Share Index yield with an anticipated annual yield of 4.0%.

Neil Woodford is one of the UK’s best known fund managers and his performance whilst at Invesco Perpetual makes him one of the most successful fund managers of recent times. The Woodford Equity Income fund was the first fund launched from his new venture, Woodford Investment Management, and the fund has now grown to hold over £6 billion since its launch in June 2014.


Aims of the Woodford Equity Income Fund

The Woodford Equity Income Fund aims to provide investors with sustainable, long term dividend growth as well as a growing income stream, which is paid on a quarterly basis. The fund invests in a diverse range of companies such as AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline and BT, among a variety of others, with over 80% of holdings based in UK companies.
