ASDA Life Insurance Review

ASDA as with most UK supermarkets have branched into insurance using their brand to promote insurance products via 3rd party insurance providers.

Currently ASDA offer via their ASDA Money brand general insurance products such as travel, pet, van, home and breakdown cover. ASDA Life Insurance & ASDA over 50s life insurance plans are not currently provided to UK customers.

Formerly their life insurance policies were provided by LV and Ageas Protect Ltd which rebranded as AIG in 2015. ASDA offered guaranteed acceptance life cover for people aged 17 to 50 with policy terms up to age 65. This type of cover whilst easier to take out meant that the risk to the insurer was unknown so policies could work out more expensive.
