• Buildings and contents insurance – including loss of rent and public liability cover. AVIVA Buildings Insurance covers damage to the structure of your property caused by fire, flood or theft, as well as subsidence and landslip
• Permanent fixtures and fittings are covered, including outside spaces like driveways, patios, and gates.
• Contents cover –  you will be unlimited, insuring you for any damage to your belongings caused by fire, theft or flooding (with a maximum single item limit for valuables of £2,000)
• Replacement locks – AVIVA will cover costs up to £1,000 for replacing locks in your home if the keys are lost or stolen. This covers external doors as well as any alarm systems or domestic safes.
• Landlord liability protection – AVIVA will make sure your costs are covered – with £5 million protection as standard – and if you need help, you can contact their legal helpline to get professional advice.
• A choice of optional extra cover such as; employer’s liability; legal expenses; protected no claims discount, and accidental damage
• Access to their risk helpline, which offers advice and support on such things as making a claim, health and safety and any other insurance security questions you need answering
• Legal support, should you come across any issues with tenant disagreement or rental payments
• A claims line which is available 24 hours a day
• If a property you rent out is broken into and left unsecured or unsafe, AVIVA will send an approved tradesperson over within two hours of your call to make it safe.
