What is daily car hire excess Insurance?

When you hire a car, the rental price will usually include insurance which covers you for accidents (known as the Collision Damage Waiver)and theft (known as the Loss Damage Waiver). However, if your rental car is damaged or stolen, you could face a hefty excess charge.  Many rental car companies offer the option of their own excess insurance – however this can be expensive.

Buying your daily car excess insurance ahead of time could offer you a cheaper deal and provide you with peace of mind that your excess charges will be reimbursed if you have an accident or if your car is stolen – leaving you free to enjoy your trip.
