Fair Investment Company launches FREE ISA Guide
02 November 2009 / by Rebecca Sargent
Fair Investment Company has launched its free ISA Guide, aimed at helping investors to make the most of the annual tax efficient savings wrapper.
As rumours of tax increases do the rounds, Fair Investment Company understands that investors will be looking to shield as much of their capital as possible from the taxman, and ISAs are one way of doing this.
The new ISA guide looks at how and why investors may want to make the most of their ISA allowance. Whether they want to move previous years’ ISA investments under one roof, or are looking to make the most of this year’s allowance.
Commenting on the launch of the guide, Julie Smith, investment manager at Fair Investment Company said: “ISAs are an important tool for any investor, and we know they can be confusing at times, so this guide aims to clear up a few areas that investors may be unsure about.
“The new ISA limits for those aged 50 or over this tax year that came in last month have given some cause for confusion among our clients, so we have tried to make this as clear as possible, as well as looking into ISA transfers, which allow investors to consolidate their existing ISA capital.”
The guide looks at a variety of ISA solutions, including cash ISA products, structured investment products, which can be used within both cash and stocks and shares ISAs depending on the product, and a range of investment fund options that can be used within a stocks and shares ISA.
Ms Smith comments: “We understand that everybody’s investment needs vary, so we have tried to address this situation by providing a wide range of products that can be used within an ISA.
“We have products to suit most ISA requirements, whether people are looking for a one year investment or want to transfer their existing ISAs into a longer term investment product,” she adds.
And, for those investors who go on to invest in a structured product or investment fund through Fair Investment Company, there are a number of discounts and cashback deals available. (See products for details)
