NatWest Increases Mortgage Variable Rate In Response To Bank Of England Base Rate Rise

NatWest is the latest lender to increase its standard variable rate on residential mortgages in response to the BOE base rate change on 2nd August. The rate has increased by 0.25% to 4.24%.

This increase takes effect from 1st September 2018.

It follows similar increases by other banks including Santander UK, Coventry Build Society, Nationwide and Sainsbury’s Bank.
