08 November 2004

Motorists who buy their car insurance online could save an average of £50 per person.

According to research from Privilege Insurance 58 per cent of UK drivers have purchased insurance online.

The motorists that do go online to look for deals save an average of £50 pounds each and this leaves Privilege to suggest that all motorists do likewise.

“I would urge all drivers to spend time comparing policies and premiums to ensure they are getting the right cover at the best price,” said Ian Parker, managing director of Privilege Insurance.
