Alliance & Leicester Premier Current Account £100 cashback offer set to end

Current account holders are being encouraged to switch to Alliance and Leicester’s Premier Current Account to take advantage of its £100 cash gift before the offer expires.

The Santander owned bank is urging non-existing current account holders to switch to its Premier Current Account to benefit from the cash back offer which expires on 7 March, as well to enjoy a 0.5 per cent credit interest, an interest free overdraft for 12 months and free annual European travel insurance.

Commenting on the offer, Helen Bierton, head of current accounts for Alliance & Leicester, said: “Switching to a more competitive current account, and receiving £100 from Alliance & Leicester for doing so, is a win-win for a lot of people.”

Reassuring people who are concerned about switching accounts, she said: “Changing your current account is hassle free with our premier switching service so customers do not need to worry about re-directing direct debits or standing orders.

“This great deal is going to be withdrawn on the 7 March, so customers need to act now to switch, to make sure you get a better deal and pocket £100 into the bargain.”
