Alliance & Leicester current account to re-launch £100 cash back

Alliance & Leicester is set to re-introduce its cash back scheme for its Premier Current Account, it has been announced.

From next week, the Santander owned bank will offer new customers who switch to its Premier Current Account £100 cash back.

Customers who decide to switch will also receive a fee free agreed overdraft for 12 months, in addition to free annual European travel insurance and 0.5 per cent credit interest.

Commenting, Helen Palmer, head of current accounts at Santander said: "People set themselves all kinds of New Year resolutions - some relate to making more of an effort to visit friends and relatives, some relate being more healthy, and some relate to improving your wealth.

"If they switch to an A&L Premier Current Account they can go a small way to improving their finances with a £100 cash bonus, which could help them make a good start to the New Year."
