In place of an Abbey Offset Mortgage, Santander claim to offer customers a flexible offset mortgage that will provide customers with added freedom. There are several different types of mortgage deal that may be offered to customers.
Santander’s offset mortgages also come with a number of useful extra benefits. The deal comes with a free initial valuation for the property and any legal fees for remortgaging or also paid for by the provider.
Customers can also expect £250 in cashback if they are moving home, however, this money must be repaid if the mortgage is paid off within two years.
The company also claims that customers may be subjected to reduced payments on their mortgage, as payments will be adjusted according to the Bank of England’s base rate. However, it should be remembered that these rates may also increase depending on the current financial climate.
