Fund Overview
The AXA Framlington Managed Balanced Fund has been praised in recent times for outperforming its benchmark index in every year, bar one, for the last six years. Part of this may be down to the fact the fund aims for capital growth coming from investments in a large range of economic sectors and parts of the world.
The AXA Framlington Managed Balanced Fund is usually made up of around 80% equities and 20% bonds and cash. The majority if the equities that make up the find are from the UK, but the portfolio is diversified with assets from Asia and other emerging markets.
Another reason that is put forward for the funds recent good performance is the fact that although there has been a heavy investment in industrial companies, this has been balanced by large holdings in the healthcare sector.
