British Gas is part of the Centrica Group of companies and one of the most well known providers of gas and electricity in Britain. - Paperless billing – British Gas customers can opt to receive their bills online
- Energy efficiency commitment: Amongst other things, last year British Gas provided 2.5 million homes with cavity and loft insulation at a cost of around £96.2 million
