Capital One Savings AccountsCapital One Savings Accounts

A range of Capital One savings accounts gives you a range of options when it comes to savings. Rather than offering one type of savings accounts, Capital One offers four varieties in order to cater for people with different savings habits. If your priority is gaining free and unlimited access to funds as and when you need them, the following Capital One savings accounts may interest you:

  • Base Beater Account: which is guaranteed to offer rates above the Bank of England base rate until July 1, 2010, and allows you to manage your account online. Gives you the choice of annual or monthly interest
  • Bonus Saver Account: which offers a 12-month interest bonus with unlimited access to funds. Allows customers to invest between £500 and £1 million

If you would prefer your savings to be more securely tucked away so that you are not tempted to fritter them away, it might be better to go for one of the following:

  • Fixed Rate Bonds: which offer fixed rate deals for between one and five years. Allows customers to save between £1,000 to £1 million and offers monthly or annual interest
  • Guaranteed Access Bond: a two-year fixed-rate deal that offers free access to funds on withdrawals of up to 50% of your original deposit
